Enhancing the Breath for Internal Support
Enhancing the Breath for Internal Support
Create calm, clear functionally flexible breathing with these restorative lessons.
Your breath is one of the most valuable resources you have. In this Awareness Through Movement® series with Andrew Gibbons, you'll explore ways of using the breath to develop a deep sense of ease, calm and internal support. The lessons are each designed around a specific aspect of breathing, and offer a deeper investigation into the function of breathing than what you might find in other awareness practices or in yogic breathing.
By studying these lessons, you will:
- Learn to find deeper, easier breathing
- Use the breath to explore better ways of organizing your spine, chest, shoulders and abdomen.
- Experience improved connection with the ground and internal support for better balance.
- Understand different muscular patterns in the torso that make it easier to breath.
- Develop a more spacious, calm connection with your everyday breathing and how it relates to your mood.
- Learn to use your breath in a more efficient and resourceful way.
